Arctic Moon – Nightscape Frequencies is an intense sonic journey capturing the feeling of profound longing set against the backdrop of a pulsing, late-night city. It was born from the desire to translate a very specific, powerful emotion. The ache of separation and the desperate anticipation of reunion – into a high-energy electronic music experience.
The primary inspiration is that universal feeling of intense longing for someone’s presence. Especially experienced during the solitary hours of the night. It’s also inspired by the energy and atmosphere of a city after dark. The constant thrum, the distant lights, the way sounds travel, and how that environment can amplify feelings of loneliness or anticipation.
The title “Nightscape Frequencies” aims to capture both the visual setting and the idea of tuning into specific emotional or literal sound waves in that environment.
